Mid-Market Sales Manager, Uber for Business
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to lead the Mid-Market Sales Team at Uber for Business Mexico. We need creative thinkers and builders with previous sales experience who are passionate about developing and leading sales organizations. You'll be on the frontlines introducing businesses to Uber while developing and testing new strategies around sales. We need a highly motivated self-starter with an engaging personality who thrives in a team environment.
The Head of Mid-Market Sales for Uber for Business in Mexico will be a hands-on leader, working at a global scale to grow Uber's business through the addition of new strategic customers in Mexico. You will own Uber for Business' Mid-Market accounts and be responsible for the team's activities from cold outreach to close.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Lead, develop, motivate and retain top performers and scale a high-performing sales team in Mexico City
- Effectively manage and lead your team to success: hitting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
- Drive revenue generation for Uber for Business through prospecting, qualifying and closing new businesses
- Work with sales operations to develop process and accuracy
- Build sales playbook that will be used to scale globally and train our growing team
- Be able to execute in short-term sprints while maintaining a vision for long-term sustained success
- Be prepared to share knowledge and communicate with teams around the globe
- Develop strong relationships with key clients that will generate revenue as new features go-to-market
- Wear multiple hats: sales manager, sales strategy, lead generation, sales rep, and account manager
- Identify prospect needs, understand business drivers behind requests, and explain the Uber value proposition

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in B2B sales and sales management, ideally within SaaS, technology, or high-growth environments.
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing sales teams, with a proven ability to develop, coach, and retain top performers.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding revenue targets and scaling customer bases in mid-market or enterprise segments.
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills, with experience using CRM systems (Salesforce or similar).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience building or implementing sales playbooks and scalable processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing short-term execution with long-term strategy.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to use analytics and insights to inform sales strategies.
- Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable, with a "startup hustle" mentality.
- Business fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Proven ability to build and scale sales teams from the ground up, including hiring, onboarding, and developing talent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading mid-market or enterprise sales in Latin America, with deep knowledge of local business and regulatory environments.
- Background in SaaS, mobility, or technology solutions, ideally with global or cross-functional exposure.
