About the Role

The US&C Taxi Team is responsible for developing and executing on a strategy for integrating taxis onto our platform - as a means of improving marketplace balance and the customer experience. We are seeking an individual who has strong operational and business acumen, and can also lead a team leader who helps drive growth with key initiatives for our Taxi strategy. This is a key position that can make a big impact on the US&C Mobility business.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Ownership: Work with leadership to set strategy, lead important project plans, and help execute. Keep the team motivated by explaining big-picture context for these strategic efforts, communicate top-down vision, and translate broader company strategy into goals specific to the Taxi Team
  • Business Sense: Lead Taxi performance, owning operational data and driving analysis to make critical business decisions.
  • Problem Solving: Seek issues that involve people, things, and processes by using logic and data to lead different teams in the search for solutions to these issues. Identify the root cause of a problem, as opposed to focusing on the symptoms
  • Process Optimization: Help your team identify core analyses and processes, optimize them, and lead implementation, regularly reviewing performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as a thought partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Promote and ensure the team's voice is heard. Optimally find, suggest, and secure resources within and across functions

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in management, consulting, investment banking, technology, any operations-intense fast-paced environment, entrepreneurial setting, or related fields
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of people leadership experience
  • Easily adapt to a constantly-changing work environments
  • Data-driven decision mentality through strong analytical thinking
  • Strong implementation skills and process design orientation
  • Strategic Problem Solving
  • Experience with external partner management
  • A proven track record in growing new verticals
  • Functional Expertise of the Taxi industry

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$140,000 per year - USD$155,000 per year.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$155,000 per year - USD$172,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$155,000 per year - USD$172,000 per year.

For Washington, DC-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$155,000 per year - USD$172,000 per year.
