About the Role

Uber is seeking an exceptional leader to drive our Strategic Insights team within the Measurement Science group. As team manager, you'll manage a global team of insights analysts who serve as pre-sales consultants, delivering scalable, data-driven insights that accelerate our revenue cycle. You'll be responsible for providing the compelling "Why Uber" rationale through sophisticated analysis focused on platform, category, and brand insights.

What You'll Do:

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of 8-12 insights analysts across multiple time zones
  • Set team strategy, priorities, roadmap, and performance standards aligned with business objectives

Strategic Insights Delivery

  • Oversee delivery of custom analyses using first and third-party data for platform, category, and Tier 1 clients
  • Ensure team serves as subject matter experts in client-facing meetings and presentations
  • Maintain quality standards for analytical rigor and storytelling excellence
  • Oversee large-scale automated reports and presentations showcasing vertical, seasonal, and brand level insights

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years' experience in Advertising, Measurement Solutions, Data Analytics, Market Research, Insights or similar roles
  • 2+ years of people management experience, preferably leading global or distributed teams
  • Experience supporting sales organizations and understanding revenue impact of insights work
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience in Measurement Science, Data Analytics, Advertising or similar
  • Expert proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python/R, Tableau/Looker, Excel)
  • Proficiency with both first-party and third-party data sources
  • Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills with ability to distill complex analyses into actionable insights
  • Strong executive presence and comfort presenting to C-level clients and internal leadership

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$146,000 per year - USD$162,000 per year.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$162,000 per year - USD$180,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$162,000 per year - USD$180,000 per year.
