About the Role

We work hand-in-hand with leaders across the company to ensure smooth, disciplined execution of strategic business objectives. Specifically, you will help lead Uber's M&A efforts and serve as the primary interface to many internal and external leaders.

We are looking for someone to help ensure Uber achieves the anticipated value of its M&A activity through integration. You will partner with business leaders on some of the most interesting and high impact initiatives at Uber. We are looking for someone who can be a strategic thought-partner for the business, but also get into the weeds on specific issues. What you'll do

  • Lead M&A integration activities for Uber across mobility, delivery, freight, autonomous and other Uber business lines & technology.
  • Project manage large cross-functional efforts and become a valuable partner to internal leaders (e.g. Finance, Legal, HR, Product, Engineering, Operations, etc.).
  • Prepare and give project reviews to Uber senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, negotiating deliverables and coordinating integration efforts.
  • Support Uber's top corporate development opportunities and deal negotiations

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of six years (6) years Operations, M&A integration, Corporate Development, Consulting or similar strategic / project management or relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at mobility, food delivery or technology companies is a plus!
  • Strong interpersonal skills, highly collaborative with business leaders and cross-functional partners, and a strong ability to build relationships, gain credibility, and partner with others.
  • Self-motivation with a strong affinity for vision setting, strategic problem solving, and driving action.
  • Clear communicator, team orientated, and willing to take initiative while thinking two steps ahead.
  • Confidence and flexibility to operate in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Inquisitiveness, along with the ability to spot issues, get to the heart of a matter, and articulate plans to address them.
  • Excellent business judgment and great communication skills.
  • Embody the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and accountability.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$162,000 per year - USD$180,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$162,000 per year - USD$180,000 per year.
