We are seeking an exceptional and highly experienced Senior Manager, Technical Program Management (TPM) to provide strategic leadership transforming our test automation using Gen AI. As a member of the Uber AI Solution team, you will own and drive large, sophisticated cross-team technical initiatives. Specifically, you will own the quality and test automation for Uber applications and Uber AI customers, work closely with Uber engineering team or Uber AI Solutions to design, build and operationalized automated quality assurance solutions. You will also drive execution leveraging critical metrics.

---- What the Candidate Will Do ----
  1. Develop test plans based on Product Excellence/test strategies. Lead test plan reviews with developers and other stakeholders across teams.
  2. Define the test framework, test preconditions, and other test control and reporting functions to enable others to test functionality.
  3. Drive opportunities and lead efforts to improve existing test infrastructure or create new test infrastructure to increase efficiency and productivity in test case development, scheduling, or deployment.
  4. Team management- develop, coach and mentor the existing technical and non-technical program manager team to build and scale the in-house talent for quality assurance.
  5. Stakeholder management - represent the automated quality assurance and data AI capabilities at senior leadership level interactions and forums, evangelise our capabilities, drive sponsorship and backing for initiatives
  6. Collaboration with Quality Assurance delivery leadership -Collaborate closely with leadership of Uber AI Solutions Quality Assurance business strategy and deliver team to lead multiple quality assurance, Gen AI programs for our internal and external clients
  7. Best practices - continually improve ways of work, enhance delivery maturity, elevate governance and impact
  8. Tech platform capabilities , design Test system framework, and roadmap - collaborate with our Product and Engineering teams to develop Quality assurance framework, tools, and define roadmap for development, ; work closely with them to achieve the roadmap, drive platform adoption
  9. Innovation and thought leadership - demonstrate deep understanding and expertise of coding and quality assurance related AI including agentic AI (e.g., opportunity identification, model performance benchmarking)
  10. Drive opportunities and lead efforts to improve existing test infrastructure or create new test infrastructure to increase efficiency and productivity in test case development, scheduling, or deployment.

---- Basic Qualifications ----
  1. Bachelor of Science or Engineering in Computer science, Computer engineering or comparable fields.
  2. 10+ years of Hands-on experience in Software and or test automation development, or ML Engineering with emphasis on not only usign QUA tools such as Appium. Testim, Mabl but also building customized in-house tools.
  3. Solid experience in Eng and client facing Quality assurance or solution development with senior engineers or product managers as stakeholders at leadership levels
  4. Familiarity with managing vendors, or experience working in a client-vendor setup
  5. Strong ability to communicate, bring clarity of thought in messaging for senior management, immediate and broader teams
  6. Strong collaboration skills and abilities - working across silos and team structures to drive impact effectively
  7. Proven experience in managing, mentoring and coaching team members to build scale and efficiency in the organization

---- Preferred Qualifications ----
  1. Master degree in computer engineering, Computer science, or MBA
  2. Solid (developer level) proficiency in scalable system architectures, Python, Ruby or any other prominent programming language is preferred.
  3. Track record of driving innovation and thought leadership in Automated quality assurance, Gen AI, and ML.
  4. Experience and Ability to work in a global organization across locations and time zones
