Manager, Fleet Strategy and Programs
About the Role
The US&C Taxi Fleets and Vehicles team is responsible for driving strategy and operations across multiple business lines that include managed fleets, unmanaged fleets, earner rentals, and car sales driving incremental topline/bottomline impact for the business, ensuring suppliers maximize their returns on assets deployed on Uber, supporting earners with the right vehicle or gig access opportunities, and supporting automotive OEMs in crafting vehicle solutions to earners or fleets.
The leader in this role will be in charge of driving strategic growth projects and programs that cut across supply types and product types,run complex analysis on Uber marketplace implications, and oversee growth planning and capital allocation. The leader is expected to have deep business acumen and commercial instincts. The leader needs to have a deep understanding of key dynamics that make the business work i.e., insurance, regulatory frameworks, supplier ecosystem and market drivers, consumer growth strategy, specific city strategies, pricing and marketplace drivers.
What You'll Do:
- Drive Strategic Initiatives: Lead programs to improve plan fleet and vehicle growth
- Shape the Future of Fleets & Vehicles: Mobilize efforts with Fleets and Vehicles leads to refine how alternative supply classes fuel Uber's continued expansion and shape the long term strategy
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with product, operations, business, and analytics teams to deliver innovative solutions and seamless execution.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or business leadership, ideally with exposure to mobility, fleets and/or logistics

- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically with a comprehensive understanding of the operating environment.
- Proven track record of scaling complex operations across multiple markets.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to derive insights and drive decisions.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills with cross-functional and global teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trusted relationships with internal teams and cross-functional teams, be a good listener and genuinely seek to incorporate their views.
- Ability to take initiative and strong programme management skills to execute multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- You love to growth hack: you've got the business judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to quickly establish the highest value priorities and develop a strategy to pursue them
- You have the GoGetIt mindset: you're willing to embrace the grind, overcome adversity and play to win for the people we serve, seizing opportunity to push the envelope
- Experience in the mobility ecosystem
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$140,000 per year - USD$155,000 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$155,000 per year - USD$172,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$155,000 per year - USD$172,000 per year.
For Washington, DC-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$155,000 per year - USD$172,000 per year.
