About the Role

A top-notch production engineering experience is essential to Uber's success. Uber has thousands of engineers who deploy and maintain several thousand microservices. In order for Uber to provide the best customer experience, it is essential for all our engineers to build on top of a highly efficient, reliable, observable and secure platform. This will allow product and platform engineers to run high-quality code in production environments without worrying about the innards of the platform. This is only possible if our platform has the right abstraction with thoughtfully crafted interfaces that can run at Uber's scale with the thousands of engineers working on top of it.

The Product Management role within the Platform Engineering organization owns Uber's Platform solutions and is supported by dedicated engineering teams, product designers, data scientists and internal stakeholder teams.
