Inbound Account Executive, Uber Eats - Belgium (Dutch-speaking)
About the role and team
Uber Eats helps consumers discover and order from local restaurants and national chains, delivering meals on-demand while helping restaurants grow their reach and revenue. As a Sales Representative on the Uber Eats team in Brussels, you'll be on the front lines, helping shape our restaurant selection. This role isn't just about closing deals; it's about building foundational partnerships with local businesses, often in a high-paced, competitive market. You'll need to move fast, own your process, and think on your feet.
You'll be part of a team that's accountable for its work, where success is shared, and where you're trusted to operate with autonomy. This role will challenge you to balance urgent, day-to-day execution with a long-term vision for the business. You'll work with seasoned teammates who are ready to coach and build alongside you, giving you the chance to sharpen your sales skills while growing with the challenge.
What you'll do
- Build and grow long-term partnerships by understanding what matters most to our customers - not just selling a product.
- Navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and internal complexity to unlock value for clients and for Uber.
- Manage pipelines with urgency and discipline, knowing some deals will close fast and others will take months of persistence and trust-building.
- Adapt your approach based on market dynamics, client needs, and imperfect information - there's no one-size-fits-all playbook here.
- Collaborate across operations, marketing, product, and legal to shape proposals, resolve blockers, and deliver solutions that scale.
- Communicate clearly, negotiate confidently, and stay resilient through tough conversations and the inevitable "no."
How you'll spend your time
- 60% Prospecting, pitching, and negotiating with new restaurant partners
- 20% Managing pipeline and deal-specific administrative tasks
- 10% Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., Ops, Marketing) to resolve issues and streamline processes
- 10% Engaging in team meetings, training, and professional development
