We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our Territory Operations team for the Northeast territory. If you're passionate about designing and building innovative solutions to complex problems, this could be the role for you.
As the Head of Territory Operations for the Northeast, you will be a key partner to the GM in shaping the strategy for the market and managing the growth and budget of the Territory. As a member of the Northeast leadership team you will collaborate with Northeast Commercial leadership and Strategic Operations leadership to develop scaled and strategic operations to grow the Eats business. You will manage a team of 10 operations managers to execute priorities and measure results, and your responsibilities will cover all parts of the Eats marketplace (eaters, couriers, restaurants and policy).

This role will:
- Coordinate Strategy and standardize execution across priority geographies: Implement scalable strategies and processes to maintain consistency and efficiency across all territories. Align Strategic Operations teams to ensure a unified, cohesive operational strategy while adapting to local market needs.
- Drive Hyperlocal Consumer Growth: Use data-driven insights and marketing efforts to boost demand, optimize pricing, and enhance customer engagement in key areas.
- Ensure Hyperlocal Operational Success: Optimize merchant performance and courier supply, addressing operational challenges to improve service reliability.
- Support & Align Commercial Teams: Provide operational insights and infrastructure support to Sales and Account Management, ensuring their strategies align with the geo-specific landscape.
- Ensure our business is optimized from a regulatory perspective
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a team of Eater, Merchant, and Courier operators
- Set vision and develop strategy around operations and experience within a territory
- Enable commercial motions of the territory through tooling and tracking
- Provide input on local business need or how regulation impacts processes or products
- Work with AM Managers, Sales Managers, Territory Leads, the Northeast Head of Acquisition, and GMs to help identify, solve, or escalate issues that relate to net new sales, existing merchant expansion, geo prioritization, and account investment and operations
- Voice business needs and opportunities with Strategic Operations leaders
- Track performance against OKRs across the territory
- Plan and manage multi-city and territory-wide initiatives
- Oversee any territory-specific processes or campaigns needed in addition to or instead of nationally scaled ones
- Engage cross functional partners to lead or play a role in larger scale projects
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional work experience in a related field (consulting, operations, strategy, analytics, tech, investment banking)
- Bachelor degree required, graduate degree highly welcome

- Strong experience building and leading diverse teams
- Unparalleled business judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to quickly establish the highest value priorities and develop a strategy to pursue them
- Strong collaboration and partner management skills - building deep, trust based relationships with territory and cross functional teams
- Experience with quantitative data analysis, deep measurable insights, modeling, and sophisticated test plan design and analysis
- High energy and motivational leadership driven by personal influence and example with direct staff, peers, and senior leaders across all company functions
- Experience working closely and communicating effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders in a constantly evolving, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$186,000 per year - USD$207,000 per year.
