Uber Eats is looking for a passionate and experienced leader, with deep grocery and partnership expertise, to lead our UK Grocery Account Management team and deepen our relationships with our most important partners. As the Head of UK Grocery Account Management, you will build and manage a high-performing team, cultivate strong relationships with key partners in the UK, and develop innovative strategies to unlock new growth opportunities within the Uber ecosystem. In this role, you'll work closely with the UK General Manager as well as Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Product, Operations, and Finance partners across Uber to identify and drive growth opportunities and improve how we engage with our key partners.
What You'll Do:
In this leadership role, you'll be a strategic driver to Uber Eats' success within the UK Grocery landscape. You'll wear multiple hats, including strategist, team builder, negotiator, and relationship manager, all geared towards maximising the value we deliver to both Uber and our partners. Here's a closer look at your key responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnerships - Develop and execute on a comprehensive strategy for engaging with and growing the business with our largest partners. This includes identifying new partnership opportunities, crafting compelling value propositions, and driving growth throughout the P&L.
- Building a High-Performance Team - Lead and mentor a team of talented Account Managers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment. You'll coach them on effective partnership development, negotiation tactics, and building strong relationships.
- Executive Relationship Management - Represent Uber Eats at the C-suite level, cultivating strong and strategic relationships with key executives at top grocery partners. You'll leverage your expertise to drive win-win outcomes with our partners and unlock significant growth opportunities.
- Data-Driven Optimisation - Leverage data to continuously optimise partner programs, category insights, identify areas for improvement, and ensure the success of partner initiatives.
- Operational Excellence - Collaborate with internal operations teams and partner teams to ensure the optimal SKU range, pricing, and promotions on the platform, while consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work seamlessly with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, etc.) to ensure successful partner integrations, programme execution, and a seamless user experience for both our partners and users.
- Additionally you'll - stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in the grocery delivery and retail space, identify emerging technologies and market opportunities that can be leveraged to enhance our partner offerings and act as a strategic thought leader, consistently pushing the boundaries of innovation and collaboration

What You'll Need:
- 8+ years of experience in a leadership role within the retail, grocery, e-commerce, or tech industry, with a proven track record of success in building and managing strategic partnerships.
- Experience leading an account management or partnership team of 10 plus
- Bachelor's degree
Preferrd qualifications:-
- Deep understanding of the grocery & retail landscape including current market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
- Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new products or services within the retail, grocery and/or e-commerce space
- Demonstrated ability to drive significant growth through strategic partnerships
- Strong business acumen to understand, anticipate, and solve business needs
- Expert commercial relationship management and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working in an operationally complex or matrixed org
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, etc.) to achieve shared goals
- Passion for Uber Eats' mission and a strong belief in the power of strategic partnerships to revolutionise the grocery delivery and retail landscape
