Head of Business Operations, EMEA Delivery Central Ops
About the Role
The EMEA Delivery BizOps team builds and continuously improves the data, tools, models, and processes that power operational excellence and scalable growth across Uber's Delivery business - spanning Earner, Merchant, Marketplace, and Consumer.
As Head of Delivery BizOps, EMEA, you'll lead the team that enables faster, smarter, and more data-driven decisions across Delivery. You'll partner closely with Central Operations, Finance, Data Science, and local markets to accelerate performance, improve cost efficiency, and strengthen marketplace health across the region.
This role reports to the EMEA Head of Central Operations (Delivery) and is part of the EMEA Delivery Central Ops Leadership Team.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Define and execute the EMEA Delivery BizOps vision, in partnership with Central Ops, Finance, and market stakeholders.
- Implement regional standards, governance, and analytical frameworks to drive consistency and performance across EMEA Delivery.
- Lead and coach BizOps Pods focused on Economic Performance, Operational Effectiveness, Analytical Products, and Data Science.
- Manage and scale the team across EMEA, ensuring clear priorities, strong leverage models, and measurable business impact.
- Drive data-driven decision-making and promote a culture of analytical rigor and operational excellence across Delivery.
- Apply advanced analytical, experimental, and GenAI capabilities to optimize key metrics such as cost per trip, earner engagement, and merchant reliability.
- Oversee a portfolio of high-impact cross-functional initiatives with measurable P&L outcomes.
- Prioritize resources effectively across competing business needs while maintaining space for innovation and test-and-learn approaches.

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in an analytical, data-driven business environment (e.g., marketplace, logistics, tech).
- Strong quantitative and technical acumen, with experience in analytics, experimentation, or applied data science.
- Proven people leadership skills, including managing managers and scaling cross-functional teams.
- Ability to translate complex data and systems into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences.
- Experience influencing and aligning diverse teams in a complex, matrixed organization.
- High energy and bias for action, with a passion for improving how Uber Delivery connects earners, merchants, and consumers every day.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading BizOps, Strategy & Planning, or Operations Analytics within a high-growth or platform business.
- Proven success building and scaling teams with regional or multi-market scope.
- Deep understanding of Delivery marketplace dynamics, including earner supply, merchant operations, incentives, and cost efficiency.
- Strong coaching and talent development capabilities.
- Familiarity with emerging GenAI and automation tools and their role in the future of operations.
