Uber Denmark Engineering team builds Uber's core infrastructure to deploy, manage and scale all microservices, database technologies, configuration bundles, data workloads, cloud resources, and other systems globally. Our mission at Uber is to build and run our core infrastructure efficiently and safely at scale, with high availability, low cost, and a high level of automation. The Service, Config, and Deployment team builds Uber's microservice platform managing the lifecycle and the deployment of config and code for all the microservices running in Uber's data centers. Our mission is to build a microservice and configuration platform that enables product engineers to create, scaffold, deploy, scale, and set up their services and configuration reliably, safely and easily.

Our teams consist of a healthy combination of both junior and senior engineers with a broad range of experiences across the industry. We value ideas over hierarchy, getting things done and having a measurable impact on the business.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive exciting, ambitious, previously unsolved projects from end to end
  • Thrive in an environment with ambiguous product requirements
  • Collaborate closely with different teams
  • Be motivated to independently own and drive projects forward
  • Keep the bar high on sustainable engineering by following best practices, producing best in class of code, documentation, testing, and monitoring.
  • Have a passion to make Uber better for our customers

Basic qualifications:

  • Graduates (graduation date between June 2023 until 2025) from a relevant degree (B.Sc, M.Sc) in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience coding with C++, Java, Python, or Go
  • Enjoy building high quality software that is relied upon by millions of people around the world
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity in constantly evolving environment

Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber's cultural identity.
