Global Security Associate

About the Role

Uber is looking for a highly motivated Global Security Associate to join its Ethics, Compliance, and Security - Insider Risk Team. This individual will be responsible for alert triage, monitoring and referring all insider risks to the Global Investigations team as well assisting the team in building a more proactive insider risk capability at Uber.

What You'll Do:

• Manage all aspects of insider risk alert triage
• Communicate potential threats to the Global Investigations team
• Work cross-functionally with teams such as Uber's Engineering Security team to help expand the Insider Risk team's capabilities
• Manage business manager communications regarding any suspicious employee data movement or behavior

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience working in Insider Threat programs or similar functions, which may include information security, security investigations, intelligence, law enforcement, data analysis, crisis management, risk management, or business continuity

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated insider threat experience, including tactical incident review
• Experience working with insider risk-related technologies such as User Behavior Analytics toolsets, Data Loss Prevention tools, and SIEM tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with software engineers

For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base hourly rate range for this role is USD$30.77 per hour - USD$32.21 per hour.
