Senior Operations Manager (m/w/d), Driver & Fleet Growth (Germany)
Uber is looking for a highly motivated and analytical Senior Operations Manager (m/w/d) to join our team in Germany. In this role, you'll be instrumental in optimizing the entire driver and fleet lifecycle, from onboarding to sustained success on the platform. You'll lead strategic initiatives, leverage data to drive decisions, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our fleet partners and drivers thrive.
What You'll Do
- Own the Driver & Fleet Funnel: Take charge of improving the entire driver and fleet funnel, focusing on seamless onboarding, early lifecycle success, and optimizing conversion rates.
- Lead Strategic Programs: Take end-to-end ownership of key strategic programs, like Car Ads, from initial planning and execution to performance tracking and iteration.
- Scale Engagement Strategies: Build and implement effective engagement and communication strategies to activate, inform, and retain our valuable fleet partners and drivers.
- Drive Partner Intelligence: Lead the Partner Intelligence agenda by developing tools and surfacing critical data to empower fleets to improve their performance, ensure compliance, and enhance safety.
- Optimize Investment Performance: Manage and monitor how partner-facing budgets are utilized, identify high-leverage opportunities, and provide recommendations to maximize return on investment.
- Perform Deep-Dive Analyses: Conduct in-depth analyses using SQL, dashboards, and ad hoc queries to pinpoint pain points and identify opportunities within the partner journey and our spending efficiency.
- Collaborate with EMEA Operations: Work closely with the EMEA Central Operations team, ensuring strong alignment on processes, tools, investment strategies, and performance goals.
- Develop Scalable Solutions: Create scalable processes, self-serve reporting, and dashboards to improve visibility and execution across various teams.
- Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate effectively with local Operations, Marketplace, Analytics, Product, and Marketing teams to achieve high-impact outcomes.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in operations, strategy, consulting, or growth-related roles, with a strong preference for data-driven or platform-based companies.
- Project Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from start to finish, showcasing a strong executional drive and ownership mindset.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, including proven proficiency in SQL.
- Budget Management: Experience in managing or advising on budget allocation, measuring ROI, or optimizing resources in a business context.
- Actionable Insights: Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies, both internally and for enabling external partners.
- Process Building: Experience in building structured processes, toolkits, and scalable engagement frameworks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven strength in collaborating across various functions, particularly with regional (EMEA) teams and global stakeholders.
- Language Fluency: Fluency in both English and German is required.
- Passion for Partners: A genuine passion for helping fleet partners and their drivers succeed on the Uber platform.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Experience with Python, automation tools, or CRM systems is a plus.
