Engagement Program Manager, Delivery Commercial Operations
This is a hybrid role - our team collaborates in-person out of our incredible offices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
About the Role
At Uber, strong communication is critical to aligning teams, driving execution, and advancing our global priorities. The Delivery Commercial Operations (DCO) team plays a key role in connecting strategy to execution for our thousands of Uber Eats sales team members around the world - and effective internal communications are essential to that mission.
As a DCO Engagement Program Manager, you'll help shape how the DCO team engages with one another and with business partners across the company. You'll work with cross-functional leaders to create and execute internal communication strategies that build trust, increase transparency, and ensure teams are aligned on shared priorities. From crafting updates on key initiatives, to managing the communications calendar, to facilitating feedback loops, you will serve as a trusted partner and the voice of the DCO team. This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strategic thinking, dynamic storytelling skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
What You'll Do
- Strategy & Planning: Develop internal comms strategies aligned with DCO and company goals, support change management and executive messaging with clear narratives
- Content & Channel Management: Create and manage engaging content across channels (email, intranet, slides, videos), maintain communication processes and platforms to ensure clarity, usability, and consistency
- Collaboration & Alignment: Partner with DCO Leadership Team, DCO Core and Edge teams, Commercial Leadership Team, HR, Executive Communications, and others, ensure consistent messaging and shared understanding across functions
- Engagement, Feedback & Impact: Drive initiatives that clarify Uber Delivery and the Commercial organization's strategic priorities and future vision, manage feedback loops and track comms effectiveness to inform continuous improvement efforts

Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of proven experience in internal communications, change management, and/or sales operations.
- Experience with internal comms tools, platforms, and best practices (e.g., Slack, email platforms)
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in internal communications, change management, and/or sales operations
- Experience with developing and implementing communication frameworks that scale across functions and regions, specifically experience implementing communications programs for sales organizations
- Experience driving internal communications for operations, strategy, or transformation teams and ability to translate operational complexity into clear messaging
- Experience with video editing tools
- Superb writer and communicator: you're able to distill complex ideas into simple but credible messaging and compelling narratives
- Self starter: we want to work with people who enjoy rolling up their sleeves and building things from the bottom up
- Team player: you have experience working with others on complex projects to get stuff done. Success at Uber depends on the ability to work cross-functionally and organize around shared goals
For Boston, MA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$116,000 per year - USD$128,500 per year.
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$116,000 per year - USD$128,500 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$129,000 per year - USD$143,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$129,000 per year - USD$143,000 per year.
