As a Data Scientist, you'll find yourself at the exciting crossroads of data and strategy within our Competition Analytics & Insights vertical.

In this role, you'll work closely with a highly skilled and motivated team, with the primary goal of harnessing the power of competitive data to elevate Uber Eats to new heights.

What You'll Do
- Support leadership and regional teams with building models to validate competition trends
- Translate ambiguous questions, drive analysis and synthesis findings into clear recommendations for regional teams. Ensure we take recommendations to execution. We don't just stop at strategy
- Build, Innovate and Maintain the competition data infrastructure worldwide and ease access to data for the teams. Develop end-to-end data pipelines for models, dashboards and other projects
- Build visualizations for high-priority business critical metrics
- Build causal models, as well as regression algorithms for competitive performance estimation.

What You'll Need
- 2+ years of work experience in a data analytical/science role (data consulting, data science, data analytics, data engineering)
- Advanced Python, Pandas and SQL skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with causal inference frameworks
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and experience creating compelling narratives with data
- Knowledge of version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative coding workflows
- Understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
