Business Development Representative, Uber for Business
About the Role
We're looking for a driven Business Development Representative to support our Uber for Business sales team. This high impact position will provide sales support to Account Executives through the development of qualified leads that result in achieving our business goals. If you're looking for career growth, this role will serve as a training ground for a pathway into an Account Executive position with demonstrated success.
You'll be responsible for conducting outbound prospecting campaigns (calls, email and LinkedIn). Your day-to-day job will be developing a rapport with contacts in an effort to understand where the prospect is in the buying cycle. Working with Account Executives, you'll ensure that the leads provided are properly qualified and will progress through the sales funnel. This involves gathering key information to update our Salesforce system and identifying next steps for Mid Market Account Executives to connect with these prospects.
The Impact You'll Have
- Drive outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and LinkedIn to generate qualified leads.
- Engage prospects to understand needs and assess fit for Uber for Business.
- Partner with Account Executives to hand off qualified opportunities smoothly.
- Update and manage lead data and activity in Salesforce.
- Consistently meet or exceed outreach and pipeline targets.
The Experience You'll Bring
- 1+ years of outbound prospecting experience .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to acquire the vital information from the prospect, while also ensuring a mutually helpful conversation
- Have a positive, self-driven team-first mentality with a desire to learn
- Excellent organization, project management, time-management skills, and ability to take initiative
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with email campaigns and Salesforce
- Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Groove experience
- A passion for technology and B2B sales
