About the Role
As Uber continues to expand its services in Mexico, the Business Development Team is looking for a highly strategic and results-oriented dealmaker to identify and cultivate key partnerships that drive meaningful scale for our business.
In this role, you will be responsible for analysing, sourcing, negotiating, executing, and growing partnerships, with a primary focus on supply related initiatives, including vehicles, financing, motorcycle, Taxis, and more.
What You'll Do
- Identify and evaluate strategic partnership opportunities across various sectors, with a focus on high-impact collaborations that drive business growth.
- Manage existing complex partnerships to drive growth and business impact.
- Lead end-to-end partnership processes, from initial outreach and business case development to contract negotiations and implementation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-Operations, Legal, Finance & Marketing, to ensure partnership strategies align with overall business goals and drive value.
- Develop and present strategic deal analytics, competitive research, and market insights to guide business decision-making and shape partnership strategies.
- Support and contribute to the overall BD team's efforts by driving operational excellence and assisting in key deals or projects that require team collaboration.
- Own and cultivate partnerships that you will manage independently, ensuring long-term success through proactive relationship management and performance monitoring.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills across all channels (written, verbal, presentations, and negotiations) to effectively influence stakeholders and secure alignment at all levels of the organization.
- Be results-driven and comfortable navigating ambiguity, proactively bringing clarity and structure to complex or undefined situations to drive tangible outcomes.
- Confidently engage with senior internal and external executives, building strong relationships and representing Uber's strategic interests with key decision-makers.
- Be technically savvy, with a working knowledge of API integrations and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams to ensure seamless integration of partnerships.
- Enjoy problem-solving and finding joy in puzzles, bringing creativity and an inquisitive mindset to unravel complex challenges, while working with large, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of professional experience in Management Consulting, Business Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Strategic Partnerships, or Corporate Strategy.
- Proven track record of structuring, negotiating, and closing commercial deals.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree (e.g., MBA) or relevant postgraduate degree.
- Experience in mobility, transportation, financial services, or technology.
- Familiarity with vehicle supply partnerships (leasing, financing, fleet operations).
- Track record of managing cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with legal, operations, and marketing teams.
- Ability to develop business cases and financial models to support growth strategies.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity.
