About the Role
Uber is looking for a Global Benefits Operations professional to drive program administration within the Global Benefits team. This role will build operational solutions to enhance employee engagement with benefit programs in the Global Benefits market. You will support the day-to-day activities associated with our biggest Benefit programs.
The ideal candidate thrives in a very fast-paced, constantly changing environment. This role is based out of our San Francisco office, however it will be required to partner with team members and stakeholders globally distributed across our regional offices.
What You'll Do
- Work with members of the Global Benefits team to review payroll files and ensure accurate deductions are taken for international and domestic benefits offerings
- Identify pain points in benefit operations. Remediate issues by either creating and maintaining operations tools (e.g., standard operating procedures) or working with product/engineering teams to correct
- Audit and track benefit eligibility reporting and reconciliation including compliance related processes and reviewing our vendor reports to ensure accuracy
- Triage escalated employee cases and support requests
- Help with program management, such as ad-hoc requests from various internal stakeholders

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional benefits operation or benefits consulting experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Benefits operations, US preferred
- Benefits administration system experience (you know how to configure, test and send data with Benefits vendors' systems)
- Experience working with HR enterprise technology solutions, WorkDay and/or Oracle experience is a plus
- Prioritization experience supporting multiple work streams and processes in high-growth environments
- Exposure to supporting a broad, diverse employee population
- Ability to work well under pressure, with proven time management skills and the ability to prioritize in a multifaceted environment and coordinate complex information
- Forward-thinking, detailed-oriented and personable
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Self-driven. You have superior organizational skills, integrity and great follow through on tasks
- Willingness to learn and support the broader team, have a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
- Darwin experience a plus
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$93,500 per year - USD$103,750 per year.
