Associate, Strategic Finance

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate, Marketing Finance, to join our team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will support the Global Head of Marketing Finance in consolidating and analysing marketing investments globally, ensuring financial efficiency, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes.

What You'll Do

1. Financial & Operational Planning: Develop financial forecasts and operational goals along with company leaders across Marketing and Finance
2. Partner with the business: apply business judgment and financial insights to assist with decision-making related to new initiatives, products, and business opportunities
3. Problem solving and financial modelling: Break complex business problems down into components, and build models and processes from scratch as well as improve existing ones
4. Strategic Thinking & Execution Excellence: Partner with your team to execute projects and operationalise our insights
5. Work closely with accounting to provide input on management reporting needs and better understand our actuals
6. Be detail-focused, autonomous and adaptive, eager to learn new technical skill sets

1. BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant subject
2. 3+ years of proven professional experience
3. Experience with Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
4. Prior financial and/or analytical experience including FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or operations
5. SQL knowledge is a nice to have
