About the Role
The mission of the Uber AI Solutions team is to transform Uber's best ideas into agile, global solutions. We partner with Uber's product and engineering teams to provide tech-enabled operations solutions. We are driven by a desire to achieve industry-leading efficiency and cost while delivering the highest-quality output.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Work closely with Uber's business teams to identify and scope out programs/processes that Uber AI Solutions can support and add value through efficiency gains achieved via automation, scale, etc.
- Manage engagements with multiple stakeholders (regional teams, vendors, product, and engineering) and ensure the highest-quality delivery within the agreed-upon timelines.
- Manage vendor teams to carry out operations and execute projects; establish process KPIs and targets, and track them.
- Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to improve the process through tooling and continuous improvement initiatives. Report the status of programs to our stakeholders, senior management, and cross-functional teams clearly and concisely.
- Manage timelines, deadlines, feature sets, risks, change requests, releases, and track project budget and financial metrics.

What the Candidate Will Need
- Master's degree in management from a top-tier school (preferred). Technically savvy and able to ramp up on new technologies quickly.
- Experience with process design and optimization, program management, technical and customer support strategies, and/or quality assurance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders. This role will require you to work with other operations, product, and engineering teams.
- Self-motivated with a strong affinity for vision setting, strategic problem solving, and driving action.
