About the Role:
Uber is looking for an AI/ML Software Engineer to transform how we manage security risk, audit, and compliance through cutting-edge machine learning and analytics. In this role, you will develop AI-driven models to automate risk assessments, enhance compliance monitoring, and improve decision-making across GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) functions.
What You'll Do:
1. Build and deploy AI/ML models to automate GRC processes including risk assessments, audit analytics, and compliance monitoring.
2. Apply NLP and machine learning techniques to analyze security incidents, risk data, and regulatory requirements.
3. Enhance fraud detection and anomaly identification with predictive analytics.
4. Collaborate with security, audit, and legal teams to design AI-driven solutions.
5. Ensure AI models are compliant with regulatory standards and ethical AI principles.
6. Continuously monitor and improve AI models for accuracy, fairness, and transparency.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, or related field.
2. 4+ years of experience in AI/ML, data science, or analytics.
3. Proficiency in Python, R, or equivalent languages, and experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
4. Strong skills in NLP, anomaly detection, and predictive modeling.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience applying AI/ML in cybersecurity, fraud detection, or risk analytics.
2. Knowledge of Explainable AI (XAI) and AI governance frameworks.
3. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CRISC, Certified AI Ethics Professional).
