Ad Operations Specialist

Yesterday London, United Kingdom

About the Role

Ads is one of Uber's fastest-growing businesses and is a key contributor to Uber's overall profitability goals. In 2025, Uber's Advertising revenue is up 60% year-over-year, crossing a $1.5 billion annual run-rate, proof that our platform delivers powerful impact for brands.

We are expanding the advertising organisation and building a suite of advertising products. Uber Advertising enables advertisers to reach and convert its highly engaged user base across its Mobility and Delivery platforms in 32 markets.

In this role as Ad Operations Manager for the UK, you will support Uber's Advertising business by guaranteeing flawless campaign set up and performance for our UK Advertisers. You will work with partners across the globe to propel the business forward, by acting as a coordinator for display, search and programmatic campaigns as well as bridging the gap between the business' needs and the offshore operational team.

What you'll do

  • Partner with Sales, Strategy, and Analytics teams to launch ad campaigns that land smoothly and deliver what they promise - even when timelines shift and inputs are imperfect.
  • Run point on campaign operations across multiple tiers, keeping Sales, Ops, and offshore teams aligned, informed, and focused - without losing sight of pipeline dynamics.
  • Monitor live campaigns with care and urgency, triaging issues in real time and working across teams to fix delivery or pacing problems before they become visible to clients.
  • Spot gaps in process, tools, or communication - and take the lead in designing fixes that work at scale, often without being asked.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Product and Engineering to test, launch, and improve internal tools and ad delivery systems - helping raise the bar on efficiency and performance.
  • Help translate ambiguous client asks into clear operational plans - even when priorities are changing or pressure is high.
  • Bring structure and accountability to complex workflows, holding the bar for quality and keeping things moving when things get messy.
  • Collaborate across time zones and functions, bridging gaps in knowledge, culture, or context to make the whole system more effective.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in Ad Operations, AdTech, or digital advertising, ideally at a data-driven, tech-forward company
  • Experience managing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns across multiple formats and platforms
  • Proven track record working with advertisers in the UK market across a range of industries
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Salesforce
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and troubleshoot issues in fast-paced environments
  • Skilled at working cross-functionally with diverse teams and stakeholders

Preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with SQL and Tableau, or similar tools for working with data
  • Experience using data platforms and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, ComScore, or similar
  • Operational understanding of brand safety, viewability, and fraud detection in digital advertising
  • Comfortable moving fast and making smart trade-offs in a dynamic, high-change environment
  • A high bar for quality - with a strong bias toward action and improvement

Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better. Here, bold ideas create real-world impact, challenges drive growth, and speed fuelds progress. What moves us, moves the world - let's move it forward, together.
