About the role and team

Sales at Uber means navigating ambiguity, earning trust fast, and solving problems that don't come with a script. As an Ads Enterprise Account Manager, you will be the engine behind demand generation for our most complex restaurant partners, bridging the gap between high-level ad strategy and real-world campaign execution. You'll be tasked with turning an expanding suite of ad offerings into tangible growth for merchants, ensuring our platform moves the needle for their business every single day.

This isn't a transactional role; it's about managing the messy reality of large-scale advertising where priorities shift and performance is under a microscope. You will need the grit to handle tough budget conversations and the curiosity to dig into data to unblock growth opportunities within a complex book of business. If you are a resourceful owner who thrives on high-stakes collaboration and can stay calm when navigating technical blockers, this is where you'll make your mark.

What you'll do
  • Build and grow long-term partnerships by understanding what matters most to enterprise merchants, translating their business needs into high-impact ads and offers solutions.
  • Analyze, report and bring new opportunities to the clients.
  • Navigate ambiguity and internal complexity to lead campaign implementation, ensuring operational efficiency from asset collection to measurement integration.
  • Partner with Account Executives to analyze platform insights and category trends, identifying and pitching upsell opportunities that align with merchant objectives.
  • Manage high-pressure growth conversations, including budget recommendations and objection handling, to expand the adoption of Uber's ad products.
  • Collaborate across product and engineering teams to provide \"voice of the customer\" feedback, helping to shape the future of our advertising features and tools.
  • Monitor campaign performance and budget utilization with urgency, providing optimization recommendations to ensure high levels of merchant satisfaction and retention.

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of full-time experience in an advertising or related role (media/marketing agency, ad tech, or sales).
  • Experience in a client-facing position managing external stakeholders.
  • Basic proficiency in media KPIs and advertising terminology.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex datasets to draw actionable insights and performance recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience running large-scale ad campaigns and partnering with complex, global brands.
  • Advanced negotiation and forecasting skills used to influence budget decisions.
  • Resilience and a \"go-getter\" mentality with a track record of navigating ambiguity in fast-moving environments.
  • Strong systems thinking to identify and advocate for process improvements across the organization.
