About The Product & Tech Organisation

Our Product & Technology organization drives the development of Trustly's products. The teams collectively work with innovative ideas, development of products and platform and set the vision and strategy. The Product & Tech department consists of about 180 people. When developing products they aim to be divided into value focused streams with close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

All streams consist of product managers, analysts and development teams. They all work closely together to enable new products and features within existing products within Europe. "A tech company at heart".

We are now looking for a software engineer to work on the End User Connectivity team within the Product & Technology organization. We operate in an agile culture combined with DevOps, allowing our teams to take on full responsibility from code to on-call.

What you'll do:

  • In your role as a software engineer, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining and improving our platform and digital products.
  • Be a part of our development team and build new product features, as well as our next-generation system platform.
  • Develop and build scalable systems together with our engineering teams, ensuring high quality in automation and monitoring.
  • Work closely with other engineers, lead devs, engineering managers and product managers on a daily basis, understanding and conveying the business value in what we build and why we build it.

Who you are:

  • 2+ years of experience working with Java 8 or newer.
  • Experience with Version Control systems, preferably Git.
  • Sees quality as a must have and it is committed to use the best practices in place.
  • Have worked on full lifecycle development.
  • Have worked with SQL, Kubernetes, Linux, Kafka, Docker or Spring boot.
  • Have worked in a DevOps environment.
  • Proactive and eager to learn.
  • Fluent in English.

If you have knowledge in the following areas it will be a plus

  • Knowledge on cloud based solutions (preferably AWS), monitoring and analytics
  • Knowledge in service-based architecture and microservices
  • Knowledge or previous experience working with REST APIs
  • Knowledge about modern front end frameworks such as for example React
