Description

As VP of Brand & Integrated Marketing, you'll be responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and consideration, resulting in continued customer and revenue growth. You'll steward the Trupanion brand, leading brand strategy, creative, campaigns, content and social, with a keen eye on developing differentiated and memorable storytelling across channels, products, and moments.

Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will balance KPIs with strategic and creative excellence to build a brand engine that inspires customers and fuels growth. You'll lead the charge in shaping our positioning, messaging and creative strategies for both B2C and B2B audiences.

This position is open to candidates in the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve our brand positioning, voice, and visual identity - ensuring that our leadership position can evolve to keep us ahead of the pack
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth targets, considering market dynamics, competitive landscape and customer insights.
  • Lead concept development and execution across all brand touchpoints
  • Oversee content strategy, calendar, and production across platforms.
  • Build an organic social presence that's scroll-stopping and community-building.
  • Build and mentor a high performing team and foster a culture of creativity and curiosity

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of relevant marketing experience, including in-house roles for brands (agency experience also welcome)
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a track record of success developing marketing plans that drive business growth
  • Experience developing marketing programs for brands with both B2C and B2B audiences, including in regulated categories
  • Passion for our category, company, culture and mission!

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically, anticipate market trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies and initiatives
  • Passion for brand building and storytelling, with the agility to move fast and the discipline to measure results
  • Deep understanding of consumer dynamics, cultural trends, brand positioning and storytelling
  • Strong editorial and creative sensibility, paired with a data-driven mindset
  • Ability to align brand strategies with overall business objectives
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and scale high-performing teams across multiple brand functions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with senior executives, cross-functional teams, and external partners
  • Highly collaborative, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience working with in-house creative teams, editorial partners and external agencies

Compensation:

  • The pay range for this position is $155,000 - $175,000, on a full-time schedule.
  • Along with base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.
  • We want all employees to be invested in Trupanion's success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members. Our new hire grants vest over 4 years.
