Description
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner plays a key role in guiding and elevating our recruiting efforts across Trupanion. You'll work closely with business leaders to manage full-cycle recruitment, helping scale our talent strategies to meet both current and future hiring needs. This role blends hands-on recruiting with strategic influence, ensuring our hiring practices are efficient, inclusive, and aligned with Trupanion's unique DNA.
This position is open to candidates in the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Own full-cycle recruiting for a range of roles, from intake to offer, with a focus on recruiting for mid-to-senior level roles across multiple departments
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, refine job descriptions, and build tailored sourcing strategies
- Screen and assess candidates for both technical skills and team fit
- Champion inclusive hiring practices and help drive DEI initiatives across the recruiting process
- Deliver a high-touch candidate experience, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and thoughtful engagement throughout
- Develop sourcing strategies that go beyond our ATS, such as outreach, referrals, and targeted campaigns
- Use data to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and continuously improve the hiring process
- Collaborate with the broader Talent team to improve processes, share best practices, and support projects
- Work closely with our People Ops team and other stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding and alignment with workforce planning

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally in a fast-paced or mission-driven environment
Skills:
- A track record of successfully hiring across a range of functions and levels
- A knack for spotting great talent and assessing fit beyond the resume
- Strong relationship-building skills, you know how to collaborate, influence, and advise
- Comfort with recruiting tools and systems (ATS, sourcing platforms, reporting tools)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates
- Process-driven and demonstrable ability to navigate ambiguity and apply critical thinking skills to tackle challenges
- High attention to detail, team-oriented, and ability to contribute to an inclusive work environment
Compensation:
- The pay range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000, on a full-time schedule.
- Along with base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.
- We want all employees to be invested in Trupanion's success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members. Our new hire grants vest over 4 years.
