Position Overview

The Brand Manager will support brand marketing activities to drive the desired messages for all of TruGreen's services and products. This role will guide and direct the activities of the Associate Brand Managers as they support brand strategies, advertising, and marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Execute brand marketing plans for TruGreen.
  • Work with advertising agencies to manage brand marketing campaigns. (strategy for activation).
  • Provide guidance and oversight to direct reports on brand strategy execution.
  • Review daily and weekly business trends based on sales, customer reviews, conversion, and traffic and develop action plans.
  • Participate in developing new creative as needed.
  • Execute market research to collect important brand data and insights.
  • In collaboration with sales and product teams, analyze pricing in collaboration with Finance, distribution, and sales data to develop product plans.
  • Owning existing and exploratory work for new partnerships.
  • Public relations.
  • Regularly analyze and report on brand health metrics
  • Review daily and weekly business trends, including sales and discounts, using data to forecast future sales and make recommendations for how to drive new sales and conversion
  • Participate in developing new creative as needed; support the Digital & Marketing Communications team
  • Execute market research to collect data and insights that are critical to driving TruGreen's overall brand strategy and perception, including competitive and market intelligence
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance to analyze pricing, distribution, and sales data to develop product plans
  • Own existing and exploratory work for new partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Collaborate with Communications team and agency partners on public relations activities
  • Collaborate with Operations, Procurement and suppliers on product and process innovations

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Brand Marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience with Agency relationships and cross agency teams.
  • Experience with traditional and digital marketing and market research.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to operate with autonomy through competing priorities, ambiguity, and still deliver on the goals of your team and broader organization.
  • Strong technical skills with web-based tools and strong data analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to take ownership of ambiguous business challenges and utilize data to determine the best solution.
  • Ability to drive down to the root cause and collaborate with marketing and cross-functional partners to develop the best strategy.

Pay Ranges

$65,979.00 - $109,965.00

This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
