TruckPro is seeking a Distribution Manager is responsible warehouse associates and management functions associated with directing all warehouse associates. This position will plan, organize, and direct distribution activities in a store.

Distribution Manager Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the efficiency of the distribution team in areas such as picking, packing, stocking, shipping, etc.
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
  • Primary contact in overseeing all warehouse documentation and records
  • Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Maintain general expense, compensation, freight in/freight out and truck maintenance records.
  • Manage delivery and dispatch system of trucks to customer and/or other stores.
  • Directly responsible for the physical handling of the return of parts to the store and the return of parts to the manufacturer.
  • Demonstrate excellent safety practices and maintains a safe and organized work environment as it relates to equipment, trucks and inventory.
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.

Successful Distribution Manager Will Have:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Three to four years of progressive responsibility experience is preferred
  • Forklift certification
  • Excellent communication (oral & written)
  • Customer service oriented
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record

  • The role is a physically active role 
  • Will be required to lift, pick, pull, and stock heavy duty truck parts that might be in excess of 50+ lbs with lift assist device. 
  • Will be required to stand for long periods of time on a variety of surfaces and will be required to operate a forklift 
  • Will frequently be required to: walking, bending, twisting, stepping, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing and climbing 
  • Will frequently use a computer in the course of completing daily activities
