We are in a very high-growth phase right now, which leads to exciting work that can have a large impact on the future success of the company. Our Performance Marketing program is world-class and you have an opportunity to join us and help us make it an ever more important piece of Viator's successful growth story.

The Role

We know that creative can make or break the effectiveness of advertising spend, and as part of our growth ambitions this year we are looking to push the boundaries of creative excellence in our performance marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for taking our performance marketing performance to the next level by optimizing the creative we use. That includes evaluating and analyzing existing creative performance, identifying optimization opportunities, developing a robust testing program and roadmap, and planning and then coordinating creative briefs. Ultimately, you'll develop a strategy to maximize the performance of our ads through creative testing, and then you'll execute it.

Your work will mainly cover creative across digital channels such as Programmatic Display, Paid Social, and SEM, but may possibly cover some offline, out-of-home, or other channels (like CRM) as well. And creative formats will likely include static, video, influencer, and some text. You'll be collaborating with many teams including channel owners (Display, Paid Social, App Marketing, SEM, Social), Design, Video & Content, Analytics and External Agencies/Partners.

What you'll be doing:
  • Transform our current performance creative platform & messaging matrix, ensuring it stays true to our overarching brand platform while at the same time able to drive effectiveness in our performance driven channels.
  • Create a framework to evaluate the performance of creative we're using across channels and platforms. This may be done internally or with the help of third-party tools.
  • Ensure we do more creative testing than we currently do by working with channel owners to develop creative testing plans and roadmaps. Then, coordinate and manage the execution of the tests themselves.
  • Translate insights from performance evaluations and test results into action plans. Determine what we want to try next and write up creative briefs.
  • Develop strong relationships with multiple partners, both internally and externally. This includes internal design and creative production team members, and it also includes external partners such as Google, Meta, and creative agencies we may work with. You will coordinate the creative production with some or all of these partners.
  • Communicate results, learnings, and progress to broader audiences within the marketing organization, outside the marketing organization, and upwards to leadership. This is a great opportunity for visibility across the company.
What We Seek:
  • 5+ years of experience relevant to creative performance optimization
  • Experience with relevant brands; travel or B2C eCommerce preferable
  • Someone who has a demonstrated understanding and knowledge of creative testing approaches, and measuring outcomes with business performance metrics such as CPA or RoAS, along with the usual creative testing metrics
  • Experience with creative geared more toward digital channels rather than OTT, TV, or offline is preferred, but not required
  • Someone with analytical tendencies who is comfortable operating in an analytically-inclined organizational culture
  • Someone with strong strategic conviction and communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders and make impactful decisions
  • Someone with good project management skills
  • Someone who is proactive in their approach to work
What's in it for me?

Highly competitive salary along with the following
  • Annual performance related bonus
  • Generous stock award upon joining, with additional awards annually
  • Flexible working hours & hybrid working, with a minimum of 3 day per week in the Oxford office
  • Free meals in the office
  • Full family private healthcare and dental
  • Excellent contributory pension
  • Critical illness and full life cover
  • Standard 28 days paid holiday (not including bank holidays), increasing with tenure
