Technical Customer Support Engineer (Trimble SOLID)

Trimble is recruiting for a Technical Customer Support Engineer to fill an opportunity in Villeneuve-d'Ascq in France.

Job Summary

As a Technical Customer Support Engineer you act as a point of contact for our customers and will be responsible for supporting with technical related problems, providing answers to questions from customers regarding use and trouble-shooting and solving issues related to our applications, usually over the phone and e-mails, so as to avoid interruption in customer's daily work process, thus becoming an specialist in our products with a focus on quality of services. You will be working alongside the other members of the team.

Measures of Success
  • Giving support to customers, mainly for the French and English speaking customers and partners.
  • Investigating and logging customer problems, providing timely and accurate customers feedback in the ticketing system.
  • Following up with customers and partners to ensure the issue is resolved.
  • Performing remote installations on customers infrastructure.
  • Providing support in the form of procedural documentation.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to internal partners (Development team)
  • Performs other specific duties or assignments as directed by Team Manager.
Skills and experience required
  • You are customer focused.
  • Effective communication skills to handle problems in a diplomatic manner.
  • You have a prior technical experience in technical support in IT or Telematics or desktop support or a similar role, background or working experience.
  • Good and professional knowledge in Microsoft operating systems.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • You are eager to learn new things.
  • Professional knowledge of French and English languages both verbal and written is a must.
  • Knowledge of a third language will be appreciated.
  • Team work ability
  • Skills in Transport sector or Employees payroll will be a plus too
