This role serves as an HR Compliance subject matter expert in the Employee Relations CoE at TransUnion. You will provide direction in the execution of Human Resource management policies, procedures, and programs to support a positive work environment that is compliant with employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices. You'll be a resource to help all HR functions stay current with employment law changes and help lead the company's contingent workforce compliance. You will ensure that project and team milestones and goals are achieved on time and while adhering to approved budgets. You will report to the head of the Employee Relations CoE.

What You'll Bring:
  • 5 plus years of extensive knowledge of current employment laws, DOL rules and contractor standards, as well as mandatory reporting (EEO-1, AAP) requirements and HR best practices.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal. Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a larger, cross-functional team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Master's Degree, J.D., or legal experience highly preferred.
Impact You'll Make:
  • Provide direction and guidance on employment laws and related labor obligations to ensure that the Company's HR policies, procedures and systems comply with employment regulations and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Maintain current HR policies, standard operating procedures, and handbooks in compliance with applicable employment laws and best practices.
  • Research changes in employment obligations to understand organizational impact. C oordinate with HR functional areas to implement proper practices.
  • Oversee contingent workforce compliance, implementing and enforcing proper processes related to use of contingent workers.
  • Assist in responding to internal and external HR-related requests including pay transparency, conflicts of interest, audits, reporting, and o ther inquiries.
  • Conduct regular assessments of HR practices, documents, and systems to identify and evaluate risk. Implement solutions and risk mitigation strategies to address issues.
  • Prepare and deliver HR compliance-related training to keep stakeholders informed of requirements and how to comply.
