VP, International Tax Manager

Group Details:

The international tax department is responsible for the tax planning, provision and compliance processes across all non-US jurisdictions in the Tradeweb Markets Group.

Reporting to the International Tax Director, the primary role of the International Tax Manager is to ensure compliance for the Tradeweb International entities across corporate tax, VAT and transfer pricing and for accurate reporting of tax for the international entities as well as ad-hoc advisory projects for the business. This role provides exposure to a wide range of tax issues covering multiple jurisdictions. It would be a great first in-house role or a step up for someone looking to take more ownership of a tax function.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage direct and indirect tax filings for UK and other international jurisdictions outsourced to external advisors
• Advising business on growth initiatives and support expansion into new jurisdictions
• Support International Tax Director on projects as and when they arise
• Prepare quarterly current and deferred tax provisions under US GAAP for UK and non-UK entities
• Production of tax disclosures for IFRS statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors where necessary
• Drive improvements in tax processes and controls
• Management of Transfer Pricing documentation process outsourced to external advisor and prepare Transfer Pricing calculations
• Assist in ad-hoc tax queries as they arise from the business
• Oversee work prepared by member of tax team in Bangalore office

• Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent)
• 5-8 years working in UK tax accounting and compliance in either Big4/mid-tier accountancy firm or in-house
• Strong tax accounting experience
• Knowledge of UK corporation taxation
• Experience with transfer pricing and/or VAT useful but not essential
• Proactive individual looking to grow with business and willing to take a hands-on approach when needed
