Repo Sales Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Repo Sales Specialist to join the London Team. A key, strategic position, the right individual will have a broad Repo product knowledge, ideally with focus on cash and derivative products, and be able to leverage their product sales or trading experience to boost the specialist sales effort for Tradeweb Europe. Aside from in-depth product knowledge, the role of a specialist sales person requires excellent client liaison skills, as the successful candidate will work closely with the Product Management and Sales Team to drive the Repo products agenda, maximizing all opportunities for growth and increased market share. As such, strong interpersonal skills are a necessity along with a tenacious and results-oriented approach. To be successful, the right individual will also need to develop an in-depth understanding of our customers' requirements along with the different Repo products development strategy; sharing and leveraging information to maximum advantage. Experience with electronic trading solutions is also beneficial. Strong relationships with buy-side accounts will be key to the success of this role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Head of Repo Specialist Sales to develop and execute the sales strategy, partnering with the Sales Team to leverage opportunity and drive the Repo business;
  • Contribute to the development of the Repo products strategy, working closely with the Product Management team to understand the key drivers as well as sharing information and ensuring a close alignment with the sales team's focus;
  • Build and develop key relationships both internally and with the buy-side customer base, establishing yourself as a 'go to' person for Repo enquiries and specialist information; educate others and provide presentations / demonstrations as necessary;
  • Help grow Tradeweb's market share in the different Repo and the wider secured financing products markets, keeping up to date with market developments and competitor intelligence to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Maintain prospect pipeline in Salesforce and convert prospects into clients

Qualifications

  • Repo product expertise - specifically cash and derivatives
  • Very strong network of buy side Repo contacts
  • Also strong relationships with continental European buy side repo clients preferred
  • Any additional languages beneficial such as Spanish, German and French
  • Ability to drive and execute a sales strategy
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Results focused
  • Commitment to achieving high standards
  • Thorough understanding of electronic trading/e-commerce
  • Team-player; effective communication
