Tradeweb Direct is seeking an Application Support Analyst. The role requires full understanding of the system architecture, enhancing our observability systems, managing changes and releases as well as debugging performance problems. The role offers end-to-end understanding of a complex online bond trading platform. They will get to know the architecture inside out.
Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts. There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and debug business and performance issues
- Expand our observability into our standard platform tools
- Member of an on-call rotation for production support
- Presents ideas for system improvements
- Assist in automating manual processes

Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a support role
- Strong SQL skills for performance tuning and diagnosis required (Oracle RDBMS)
- Strong scripting skills required (Perl/Python/Shell) for Linux
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of web servers (Apache) and Java application (Tomcat) servers preferred
- Understanding of version control (Gitlab preferred)
- College degree in computer science or a related discipline, or an equivalent level of technical knowledge required.

- The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $100,000 to $250,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule.
