Who we're looking for
Toyota's Technical Training Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated technical training strategy analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to develop visualization (reports and dashboards) for key performance indicators and key data for field training, technician development (T-TEN, TECS Elite), collision technical training, and support a strategic alliance with the field training centers.
Reporting to the Technical Training Manager, the person in this role will support the Technical Training Department's objective to research, develop and report on industry-leading technical training course curriculum and certification for Toyota and Lexus Service Technicians, collision technicians, and technician development (T-TEN, TECS Elite).
What you'll be doing
- Develop and provide visualization (reports and dashboards) for key performance indicators and key data for field training, technician development (T-TEN, TECS Elite), and collision technical training to Toyota regions, Lexus Areas, Private Distributors, and upper management.
- Kaizen visualization utilizing different tools such as CSOD, Power platforms, and RPA
- Support strategic development of short and long-term technical training strategies for Toyota and Lexus technical training programs, technician development (T-TEN, TECS Elite), and collision technical training
- Support and develop a strategic alliance and communication with Toyota Regions, Lexus Area offices, Distributors, and other internal and external stakeholders to support technical training strategies
- Collect and visualize key technical training development data to visualize and support technical training goals and objectives.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Support budget reporting
- Support service technician recognition objectives and activities
- Support new certification projects
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree or higher or 3+ years of equivalent professional work experience in data analysis and visualization of data
- Working experience with Power BI, including data importation, slicer manipulation, report creation and troubleshooting
- Experience gathering large data sets and creating reports to visualize data, including presenting out to all levels of management
- Experience developing solutions for report creation and data visualization in situations where output was not originally available
- Project management experience, including developing project timelines and tracking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
Added bonus if you have
- Working knowledge or understanding of Automotive Technician and/or Collision Certification Program
- Working knowledge or understanding of Automotive OEM technician education programs
- Experience interpreting and understanding technical information related to automotive systems
- Experience with budget management such as monthly tracking and usage
