Who we're looking for
Toyota's Asset Management Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Supplier Tooling Accounting Sr. Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to supervise activities relating to Assets (by cost) including asset data maintenance of those assets (releases, master data accuracy, disposals, SAP Settlements, etc.), as well as financial close accuracy (journal entries, financial reporting, flux commentary to upper management for material variances, etc.).
Reporting to the Asset Management Manager, the person in this role will support the Asset Management - Supplier Tooling department's objective to fiscally and operationally support Toyota's supplier tooling activities.
What you'll be doing
- Lead all Supplier Tooling Activities (across 11 manufacturing plants) including the following:
- Lead and review the Supplier Tooling Financial Close for roughly $2.8 Billion of Assets including journal entry support and flux analysis.
- Lead and complete various Audit, Operational, and Management requests (Internal Audit, External Audit and Purchasing/Legal requests (in addition to monthly responsibilities).
- Lead and review of SAP Settlements and subledger activity.
- Lead and analyze SAP capabilities and requirements to help drive efficiency within financial close and asset management performance.
- Lead Identification, drive and implement new processes and standardization and explore new alternative solutions (software, processes, etc.) to address manual or time-consuming processes.
- Lead for internal/external relationships with Purchasing, Legal, Customs, IT & related parties, external vendors to support Supplier Tooling Activities
- Provide coaching and mentorship for junior team members
- Manage kaizen projects and initiatives relating to RPA bots, system transactions, and other asset lifecycle activities.
- Perform other duties as required
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other analytical degree with equivalent work experience
- Highly organized with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Experience leading process improvement projects
- Experience in SAP or other accounting systems
Added bonus if you have
- Experience in Accounting
- Provide solutions to resolve internal issues as they arise (i.e. foreign currency impact, understanding of different ledgers, etc.)
- Proven experience in understanding processes and business requirements to implement tools, analytics, and processes to increase efficiency
- Experiences interfacing with high levels of management across different groups and have exceptional ability to collaborate across divisional operations, including manufacturing plants, Finance, and Purchasing as well as Production Support team
