Who we're looking for

Reporting to the SmartPath/Monogram Digital Retail Manager - Sales, the SmartPath/Monogram Digital Retail Consultant will have two main responsibilities; coordinating, managing and leading new dealer launches for SmartPath/Monogram and improving the utilization of the platform in existing dealerships through relaunch efforts and training. These activities will require working directly with Toyota/Lexus regional staff with support from existing business partners to execute successfully. Additional responsibilities will include supporting program enhancement launches as they become available e.g., Rental, F&I, and Signal.

What you'll be doing

• Work with dealers, region field staff, and our business partners to enhance SmartPath and Monogram utilization in existing dealerships by assessing current usage, developing, and implementing action plans, and providing ongoing support and training.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to measure the success of utilization strategies and identify opportunities for further improvement.
• Provide training to regional and dealership personnel on SmartPath and Monogram tools and enhancements, including refresher sessions and support for F&I rollouts.
• Support the launch of new dealerships onto SmartPath and Monogram, coordinating launch activities and delivering initial training.
• Travel to dealerships and field offices (50-75% of the time) to implement initiatives and collaborate with region field staff.
• Communicate program updates and facilitate the resolution of technical issues.
• Serve as a SmartPath and Monogram subject matter expert (SME), staying current with new features and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of SmartPath and Monogram processes and participate in cross-functional activities.
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members within the DEAL team and regions.

• Bachelor's degree (or higher)
• 1-3 years of automotive experience in field product marketing, consumer insights, digital experiences, corporate planning, advertising, sales, or collegiate internships, and Automotive field experience (District Manager and/or District Service & Parts Manager)
• Experience in a Consultative role in the automotive field
• A growth mindset, demonstrated by continuous learning, adaptability to challenges, respect for people, and the ability to learn
• Experience in Microsoft Suite skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to use data for storytelling and decision making
• Strong creative and analytical skills
• Proven ability to use consumer-based insights to make appropriate recommendations and influence the organization
• Strong understanding of the elements of user experience and user interface
• Foundational business acumen to understand corporate strategy and present insights to various audiences
• Highly organized with exceptional presentation skills
• Strong skill-set in critical thinking, problem solving, relationship building, and time management
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

• MBA or advanced business degree
• Experience interfacing with high levels of management across the enterprise, advertising agencies, and consultants
• Experience with Toyota Regions/PDs and Dealer retail environment, Lexus area
• Prior experience in automotive sales or related functions
• Previous experience representing a Digital Retail tool.
