Who we're looking for
Toyota's Enterprise Risk - IT Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Technology and Data Risk Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to assist the Enterprise Risk Manager - Technology and Data Risk in implementing quantitative and qualitative measures of Technology and Data Risk and Control assessment/testing.
Reporting to the Enterprise Risk Manager - Technology and Data Risk, the person in this role will support the Enterprise Risk - IT department's objective to be effective as a second line of defense in risk mitigation.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting risk and control assessments across assigned domains.
- Aggregating and analyzing risk events reported and documented in eGRC Archer.
- Performing root cause analyses on identified risk events to recommend improvements to prevent these risk events from recurring in the future.
- Analyzing identified trends in the performance of controls tested by Enterprise Risk.
- Assisting the Enterprise Risk Manager in preparing reports to the Senior Managers, Executives, and Enterprise Risk Committee members.
- Develop and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) control testing methodology and standards
- Assist the manager in identifying risks and developing control test templates
- Develop & execute testing based on test plans utilizing eGRC Archer
- Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory rules, and changes.
What you bring
- Four-Years college degree (BA or BS)
- 2-5 years of relevant experience performing risk assessments and controls assessments in accordance with industry standards.
- A continuous improvement mindset, always seeking efficient pathways to improve risk and controls management.
- Experience balancing assigned tasks based on priority and delivering timely
- Ability to lead walkthrough meetings with relevant stakeholders to understand their processes
- Ability to prepare and present status reports to management and executive-level stakeholders
Added bonus if you have
- Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science
- Experience with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, COBIT, NIST, COSO, or FDIC
- Proficiency in data analytics to drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency
- Ability to assess risk, root cause analysis, and implement best practices
- Experience with eGRC Archer is a plus
- Experience leading initiatives and driving cross-functional collaboration
- Additional Certifications: ex. CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CRMA
