Toyota's Human Resources Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Strategic Workforce Forecasting Senior Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Strategic Workforce Planning team with forecasting, reporting, and data analysis of the organization's workforce trends and needs. This role involves working closely with various business units to grasp their reporting and analytical needs, providing guidance, and delivering solutions to enhance data-driven decision-making processes. Additionally, the successful candidate will promote the adoption of self-service tools, enabling stakeholders to effectively utilize data analytics resources. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Strategic Workforce Planning.
This position is based in Plano, Texas. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location.
What you'll be doing
- Support workforce planning by modeling scenarios based on business forecasts and labor trends.
- Assist in capacity planning and strategic headcount modeling.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data across systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors).
- Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to enhance data infrastructure and reporting capabilities.
- Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for HR and business stakeholders.
- Collect, clean, and analyze workforce data (e.g., headcount, turnover, engagement, hiring), identifying areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
- Support and train Enterprise Data Stewards to use standard data management tools within the guidelines of governance policies and standards to contribute towards major enterprise initiatives.
- Drive alignment on data definitions, policies, governance, and enforcement of enterprise business rules for master data.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in data science, Statistics, Business Analytics, HR, or a closely related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within HR or workforce analytics
- Proficient in Excel and SQL
- Proficiency in creating dashboards and visualizations in Power BI, Tableau
- Experience with HR systems and data visualization platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Added bonus if you have
- Experience in predictive modeling or machine learning for workforce planning
