Who we're looking for

Toyota's One Tech Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated SAP Procure to Pay (P2P) Technology Product Owner.

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead, manage, and build end-to-end procure-to-pay application solutions in an ERP platform using different SAP Technologies including but not limited to cross-functional business requirements, kaizens, KPIs, reporting, archiving, and upgrades.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the person in this role will support the Business Technology Platform department's objective of good user experience, strive for 100% business continuity, and empower people and organizations to collaborate more efficiently.

What you'll be doing

The ideal candidate will work as Procure-to-Pay Technology Product Owner in the techno-functional track of SAP Hana to develop and implement enhancements, various configurations, customization of SAP Purchasing (PO), Payables (AP), General Ledger (GL), and integration of Third-Party Applications

  • Continuously improve existing custom development objects related to interfaces, reports, conversions, forms, and enhancements.
  • Provide high-quality support for production critical incidents by quickly assessing the current situation, communicating with stakeholders, formulating a plan to resolve, follow up on action items through closure.
  • Follow all standard IT procedures for problem management with problem reports to address root causes and proper countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Work with the SAP support team on service requests for standard functionality issues.
  • Strategic planning and continuous improvement of integrated SAP S/4HANA, functional and technical capabilities. Enhance SAP S/4HANA efficiency, stability, and security, and reduce total cost of ownership. Lead in all phases of the SAP Source to Pay life cycle including POC, blueprinting, mapping, design, configuration, testing, go-live, and support. Organize and prepare work effectively to facilitate proactive resolution of problems.
  • Establish project and operations KPI. Measure plan vs. actual. Develop kaizen plans. Communicate accurate status of deliverables, SLA, risk, and issues.
  • Provide strategic consultative services to management and executive leaders.
  • Lead projects/programs focused on long-term objectives, impacting business results, and driving change.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to understand current conditions, and identify, and prioritize business requirements as well as improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrate strategic planning by preparing, gaining consensus, and communicating 3-5 year plans.
  • Self-reliance to perform tasks with quality and efficiency.
  • Coach/train other team members to develop stronger technical skills across multiple areas.

What you bring

  • Degree or equivalent work experience; Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years' experience SAP S4HANA technical expertise experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a team lead guiding a team to tactically achieve results utilizing expert knowledge and experience within a designated field
  • Procure to Pay (PTP), Material Management design, configuration, development, and testing.
  • Full life cycle of SAP Hana experience leading mid to large-size highly visible projects/programs/processes.
  • Experience and knowledge in the integration of SAP with non-SAP systems, including internally developed and off-the-shelf software.
  • Experience in agile delivery expertise in an ERP landscape.
  • Experience in systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and debugging complex integrated applications.
  • Experience using verbal and written communication skills to work across teams to develop and implement complex projects.

Added bonus if you have

  • Advanced degree (master's or higher).
  • Experience and knowledge of SAP Ariba Source-to-Pay in a suite integrated environment Ability to work with large, distributed teams onshore and offshore with diverse competencies, skills, and abilities.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced/high-pressure culture.
  • Experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • 4-5 full life cycle implementation experience.
  • Self-motivated individuals preferred.
  • Experience in Function/Technical capacity and lead roles.
  • Strong business process knowledge.
  • SAP Ariba, S4HANA certifications.
