Who we're looking for
Toyota's Business Technology Platform (BTP) Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated SAP Functional Sr. Analyst - PP, EWM, IM.
The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver ERP Business Process Knowledge and SAP Expertise that enables the business community to make timely and efficient business and priority decisions.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the person in this role will support the Business Technology Platform (BTP) department's objective to objective to lead the resolution of incidents related to SAP PP/EWM/IM ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
What you'll be doing
- Hands-on work in SAP Controlling, Production Planning, and Inventory Management to support numerous Toyota North America's SAP initiatives
- Responsibilities will include providing technical directions to all Production Planning activities in SAP system tied to all our manufacturing plants and other functional area product designs. Help and assist Manager(s) with project timeline, scoping to facilitate Yearly Budgeting, Monthly Forecasting
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to understand current condition, identify, and prioritize improvement opportunities
- Design and work on continuous improvements on existing custom development objects related to Interfaces, Reports, Conversions, Forms and Enhancements
- Recommend service level patches and enhancement packs across different functional modules
- Drive efficiency efforts and continuously look for opportunities to improve business processes and interfaces
- Work with team members to assess resource usage across all interfaces including data flowing in and look for opportunities to reduce data footprint
- Collaborate with peers from within and across the organization to drive efficiency both on the process side and cost side
- Collaborate with peers and make recommendations regarding upgrades and work closely with COE
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Business Administration, Computer Sciences, or related field
- Experience in SAP Production Planning, Inventory Management and strong understanding of Finance and General Ledger with how documents flow from PP, IM to FI
- Hands on experience in SAP configurations and customizations
- Project management experience working cross-functionally with other teams
- IT experience with strong demonstrated knowledge of SAP Technology, Roadmap, Upgrades, Support Packs, Internal and External Interface design and optimization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence at the executive level
Added bonus if you have
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Management, or related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- SAP Functional Certification in one or more modules
- ServiceNow, JIRA
