Who we're looking for
Toyota's Dealer Service Center - Central (DSCC) is looking for a passionate and highly motivated National Commercial Sales Manager.
Reporting to the General Manager of Field Sales - Central Region, the primary responsibility of this role is to drive Commercial Finance / dealer lending business within the region by identifying opportunities, reviewing loans, and guiding credit packages through approval process.
What you'll be doing
- Overseeing Commercial Finance / dealer lending business for the region (excluding national accounts) by communicating with dealers, TFS field sales, dealer credit, TMNA, outside counsel, and other appropriate TFS groups
- Working with RPMs, PSMs to identify new and expand dealer targets and further define, prioritize and engage target dealerships
- Partnering with RPMs, PSMs and Area Sales Managers to engage with dealer prospects, solicit deal requirements and guide the structuring of deals to optimize appeal to dealers and enable efficient TFS underwriting approvals
- Ensuring that CSMs drive credit applications, due diligence and underwriting process consistency to field sales; works with CSMs to review loan application forms filled out by ASMs, PSMs, and RPMs before they are entered in DCOLA
- Serve as primary advocate for field and dealer interests during Dealer Credit and Credit Committee Meetings
- Liaise between HQ dealer credit and regional management on all dealer lending businesses, deal structures and lending priorities
- Participate in quarterly dealer financial performance council meetings with Dealer Credit to understand summary of dealer financials
- Provide training to the field sales team and facing TMNA/Lexus Regions as needed

What you bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a captive finance and/or insurance environment or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, collections, and financial due diligence
- B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent related experience, degree in finance, business administration, economics or related field preferred
- Understanding of captive automotive finance business and dealership financial services products, services, operations with focus on commercial credit and loan management
- Ability to articulate value of TFS products and services, conduct sales calls, identify/close business opportunities
- In-depth knowledge of TFS' dealer financing programs and processes
- Demonstrated leadership and consultative selling skills
- Automotive dealers contact experience
- Ability to build relationships with a broad audience both internal and external to TFS
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
- Work collaboratively with other team members
- Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
