Who we're looking for
Lexus' Marketing Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Manager, Lexus Advertising. We are a closely-knit team that is imaginative, thoughtful, and brave in all that we do and create.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and manage all media and advertising for Lexus.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Advertising, the team member in this role will support the sales goals of the Lexus Division while elevating the Lexus brand to new heights within the luxury industry.
What you'll be doing
- Manage all launch, sustain and sales event asset development, supporting annual priorities across all markets. Gaining buy-in from leadership, NAAB and other internal partners for Lexus key messaging and creative content.
- Manage a team of three team members as well as multiple agency relationships, including supporting Senior Manager with oversight and reconciliation of production working budgets and overall scope and fee.
- Support National Advertising Advisory Board (NAAB) by providing strategic counsel and insight throughout campaign development and preparing advertising presentation materials for NAAB meetings (in-person and online).
- Manage (while considering budget implications and receiving oversight from Senior Manager) logistics of asset production, including all pre-production, production and post-production activities. Includes but is not limited to the director, photographer and location search; wardrobe selection; casting; shoot days; copy reviews; post-production reviews and approvals with leadership team and NAAB.
- Participate in consumer research (exploratory & clinics), guiding agency partners in the development of positioning territories to test at clinics. Collaborate with LPM to develop post research Client Briefs supporting product launches.
- Support Senior Manager during annual planning (MAP) by developing strategic positioning and objective setting to align leadership priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (LDA Manager, LPM, Media, Digital, PR.) to ensure strategic alignment for content development supporting reveals, campaign launches, sales events, sustains.
- Collaborate with BA and Consumer Insights to develop and track campaign performance metrics.
- Leads and executes MYCO Content development supporting asset needs for L.Com and LDAs to ensure creative alignment with Lexus strategic messaging.

What you bring
- Bachelor's degree (or higher).
- Solid experience in related marketing and/or advertising.
- Ad agency management experience.
- Strong skill set in critical thinking, market analysis, problem solving, and relationship building.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Ability to foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration.
- Ability to reason strategically and persuasively communicate point of view.
- Ability to work effectively and remain calm under pressure with tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage a team and develop talented team members.
- Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time.
Added bonus if you have
- MBA or master's degree in relevant field.
- Experience with multicultural marketing.
- Experience managing multiple agencies in the creation of creative assets; overseeing and directly interfacing with creatives.
- Extensive experience in advertising production.
- Experience interfacing with field offices and dealers.
- Experience managing a production budget.
