Provides leadership in all aspects of TCPR's financial planning & analysis. Develops short and long-term planning and forecast models for the business. Responsible for achieving company objectives by providing a systematic, disciplined approach to financial analysis. Ensures policies and procedures are created and/or updated as required. Maximize leadership and management capabilities to enhance business performance. Prioritize actions according to business objectives. Build and maintain strong partnerships with the SFC's key business units, such as Business Development, Human Resources, IT, Legal, Compliance, external business partners, and TFS Regional Management Team. Deploy action items of the SFC's Business Plan and strategy.

Primary Job Accountabilities

1. Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Responsible for developing short and long-term operational and financial plans, including market share & volume planning, expense and profitability, and balance sheet growth.
  • Lead the MTBP process following AOR guidelines.
  • Review the monthly and quarterly forecasts utilized for profitability projections.
  • Articulate financial results and analytics to support decision making.
  • Review and report monthly fluctuations and variances to business plan and forecast.
  • Oversee the financial analysis for the monthly pricing proposals.
  • Provide financial intelligence and facilitate understanding of business performance.
  • Utilize enterprise data and financial technology (OneSource, Hyperion Essbase, etc.) to provide financial expertise and analysis for the evaluation of tactical and strategical business plans.
  • Propose and implement improvements to existing analyses, development of additional analyses and activity metrics to meet business and informational needs.
  • Ad-hoc projects, including financial analyses and key assumption development for business cases and initiatives.
  • As FP&A Manager, support the SFC's meeting or exceeding its KPIs as per the approved Business Plan.
  • Participate in the Pricing Committee and ensure the proposal is reviewed in advance. Collaborate with Sales & Marketing and Risk ensuring the monthly Pricing.
  • Proposal is aligned with GPM targets.
  • Promote an OPEX-control mindset.
  • Drive Kaizen activities in the FP&A area.
  • Drive accountability in all business units for budget management.
  • Ensure that team member leases and pool cars are properly handled according to policies and procedures.
  • Build strong network in TMCC to leverage resources and maximize results.

2. Accounting & Reporting

  • Review daily accounting transactions completed by the FP&A Supervisor.
  • Ensure monthly and quarterly accounting activities and reporting are completed.
  • Oversee and monitor the completion, implementation and execution of internal controls.
  • Ensure daily transactions are performed and processed within guidelines.
  • Collaborate with TMCC's Forecasting Team to obtain the data needed for CECL's quarterly calculation for the quarterly Allowance for Credit Losses Memo.
  • Oversee the Management Team's monthly meeting; lead the operational and financial results versus plan discussion.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit requests.
  • Active participation in the monthly closing calls with the TFS Accounting Team and be prepared to answer any questions that will arise.
  • Analyze data and provide all information required for the ERMC Committee.
  • Provide the data and information required for the Board of Director's meeting and the Investor Relations presentations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in support of enterprise and department initiatives. Research and identify accounting and reporting requirements associated with TCPR projects.
  • Develop and improve reporting and analytics to support managerial decision making.
  • Ensure that any fiscal/tax change that may affect TCPR operations is handled properly and in alignment with the Corporate Tax Team.

3. Others

  • Ensure the allocation of duties and training, as necessary.
  • Lead the performance management, development, and support of Team Members.
  • Drive any OPEX reduction opportunity.
  • Support and review pre-pricing strategy and material to ensure the ROMA target committed on GPM.
  • Ensure the Department's BCP is updated.

Knowledge and Skills

Education

Required

  • Four-Year College Degree (BA or BS)

Preferred

  • Advanced Degree. Specify: MBA and/or CPA

Experience - Subject Matter Expertise

Required

  • 5-10 years of relevant / progressive work experience (in similar field and/or industry)

Preferred

  • 10+ years of relevant / progressive work experience (in similar field and/or industry)

Licenses, Certifications & Specialized Skills (if applicable)

Required

  • Supervisory experience required
  • Solid financial and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication. Presentation skills in Spanish and English
  • Proactive, able to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to influence and manage change

Preferred

  • Experience in Financial Planning and Reporting systems (i.e. Hyperion Planning, SAP, Essbase, SmartView)

Additional Comments

  • This position is based out of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
  • This job requires traveling up to 15% of the time.
