Who we're looking for
Toyota Logistics Services (TLS) is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Field Production Supervisor 2nd Shift. Reporting to the Production Manager, TLS Field Production Supervisors will team with other Supervisors to oversee the daily activities at our Vehicle Distribution Centers.

TLS Portland is a two-shift operation, and this posting is for a 2nd shift Production Supervisor. This position will initially be assigned to a 2nd shift but there may be reassignment opportunity in the future.
What you'll be doing
• Overseeing vehicle processing operations; providing coaching, development, direction and support to Team Leaders; practicing Genchi Genbutsu to understand and support the continuously changing workplace environment; supporting TLS objectives and ensuring that VDC operating goals are met for Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost
• Managing labor planning, daily overtime, training schedules and hourly team member timekeeping; partnering with supervisors, staff, management and other parties to make decisions on process changes, standardized work and kaizen activities
• Ensuring FQA compliance to support ETA objectives and meet customer expectations
• Providing back-up support to other supervisors and staff as necessary
• Administering HR policies, timekeeping (MyTime) policies, corrective action letters, recognition programs and time-off requests
• Leading incident investigations and TBP/Kaizen activities; creating and maintaining KPIs, Standardized Work and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Participating in talent acquisition and new team member on-boarding; ensuring team members adhere to standardized work and damage-free vehicle handling guidelines
• Supporting effective team member relations by adhering to company policies, coaching/developing team members and resolving team member issues
What you bring
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) or equivalent professional work experience in a production environment
• Experience in the application of Toyota Production System (TPS), Toyota Business Practice (TBP), and Kaizen
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office platforms including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
• Experience in project management (leading projects, managing milestones, meeting targets, and reporting out to all levels of the company)
• Ability to work daily and weekend overtime based on production demands
• Ability to rotate between various internal production, logistics, or administration positions at regular intervals
What you may bring
• Two or more years VDC experience
• Experience with Intelex, Hyperion, NPPS/NVS, Brio, and MyTime (hourly timekeeping system)
• Experience working in a union environment under a collective bargaining agreement (CBA)

The annual base salary range for this position is $77,000.00 - $125,100.00.Paid holidays and paid time off : The company offers 80 hours of vacation accrued monthly, 1 floating holiday for each company observed holiday you are scheduled to work - personal holiday, 13 company observed holiday + FH, 40 hours of sick time and 24 hours personal business.
