Who we're looking for

TFS' Enterprise Compliance Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Senior VPP Compliance Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the compliance of the TFS Insurance Entities, which include a property/casualty insurer, captive insurer, and agency/administrator; and ensure the compliance of the TFS Voluntary Protection Products (VPP) - Vehicle Service Agreement (VSA), Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP), Pre-Paid Maintenance (PPM), Tire and Wheel/Key and Excess Wear and Use (EWU).

Reporting to the TFS Voluntary Protection Products Compliance Manager, the person in this role will support TFS Enterprise Compliance's objective to maintain compliance of the TFS insurance entities and allow the operation and solicitation of the TFS Voluntary Protection Products (VPP).

What you'll be doing

  • Ensuring TFS entities remain in good standing with regulatory authorities by completing required activities such as, holding company filings, corporate governance disclosures, and required officer notifications.
  • Working closely with the legal and business teams to ensure compliant VPP forms and completing required state form and rate filing activities.
  • Providing legislative oversight to updates impacting TFS VPP (agents/vendors, team members, business operations, and/or company operations) by identifying, communicating, and overseeing implementation of new federal / state regulations.
  • Obtaining/maintaining company state registrations and licenses required to offer TFS VPP.
  • Responding to complaints or inquiries from regulatory or consumer agencies.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) or 2-5 years of relevant work experience (or in a similar field or industry)
  • Hands on technical proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of providing sound recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with success communicating across cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated, organized, highly adaptive, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Added bonus if you have

  • 5 + years of relevant work experience (or in a similar field or industry)
  • Compliance experience within the Financial Services Industry
  • Strong knowledge of TFS Voluntary Protection Products
  • Skills/Hands on technical proficiency with eGRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance system)
  • Experience with state insurance department rate/form filings and SERFF application
  • Understanding of TFS Policies and Procedures and experience analyzing and providing recommendations to increase compliance risk mitigation as well as enhance business efficiency when possible
