Who We're Looking For

Toyota's Treasury Department is looking for a passionate and skilled Business Domain Owner - Treasury. The Business Domain Owner - Treasury is responsible for driving the strategic direction of the treasury, payments and subscription domain and aligning business, data and technology strategies.

Reporting to the General Manager, Treasury Cash Management, Operations and Payments, this role will partner with various stakeholder groups throughout the business to design and develop treasury business and technology strategies. This role will also serve as the liaison between business and technology to ensure execution of these strategies.

This position is based at our Plano, TX headquarters and follows a hybrid work model, combining in-office and remote workdays. Candidates should reside within commutable distance of Plano, TX.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead strategic development and enhancement of treasury technology capabilities. Work with key business leaders to understand treasury processes, requirements and opportunities to enhance existing and develop new treasury products and capabilities through technology delivery.
  • Partner with domain leaders to prioritize and execute initiatives, targeting speed to market, increased standardization and automation.
  • Work with cross-organizational leaders including info security, risk, internal audit and compliance teams to ensure processes adhere to proper enterprise standards and controls and TFS global standards.
  • Oversee domain management and administration by leading quarterly business reviews communicating and tracking performance, and managing budget and spend for the treasury, payments and subscription domain.
  • Advance analytical tools and dashboards to automate and enhance treasury decision making and reporting. Identify operational inefficiencies and remediate issues leveraging enterprise technology capabilities, toolset and using latest technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with global treasury leadership team to execute on global treasury strategies and specific initiatives. Drive global treasury platform strategy and oversee project lifecycle to scale and build new capabilities while working closely with treasurers and CFOs of global affiliates and regions.

Key Responsibilities of all Business Domain Owners:

  • Drive the strategic direction of a business domain and align business and technology strategies
  • Own delivery of domain OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), roadmap design and execution, and release planning
  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to ensure factories are maximizing return on investment
  • Manage cross-functional teams and domain strategies
  • Lead the design of end-to-end business processes
  • Communicate and track performance and agile health of the Domain that focuses on business value realization through product lifecycle
  • Lead quarterly business review for domain
  • Communicate domain's objectives, strategies, and expectations with Senior Executives
  • Partner with other domain leadership to ensure quality delivery
  • Collaborate with CDO, CIO, COO, domain leadership, and FP&A to manage budget for domain
  • Own strategic decisions related to visions, goals, and objectives of the business domain
  • Design business processes, overall roadmap, prioritization, and release planning
  • Provide direction, challenge thinking, guide decision-making, and approve priorities

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial services
  • Experience in Treasury products and processes and Treasury applications
  • Deep understanding of financial market concepts
  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally with other teams and leadership
  • Experience leading teams to execute large scale projects
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel for the purpose of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and data visualization

Added Bonus If You Have

  • Post Graduate degree, CFA, or CPA a plus
  • Experience with Treasury management solutions (WallStreet Suite, Quantum, etc)
  • Knowledge of database design and management
  • Experience in managing and implementing customized technology solutions
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Proficiency in SQL
