What we're looking for

Toyota's Production Control Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Production Planning On-site Supplier Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to work extensively leading and developing on site suppliers, internal shops and other departments at TMMTX to ensure an adequate flow of Tier 1 and Tier 2 parts and components to protect the supply chain.

Reporting to the Manager, the person in this role will support the Production Control department's objective to support the overall success of the company.

What you'll be doing

  • Support company strategy, relative to On Site Suppliers functions, and assisting Suppliers in translating those strategies into action.
  • Ensure the On-Site Suppliers meet the needs of the internal customers in an adequate and timely manner.
  • Main point of contact at TMMTX for OSS (Onsite Suppliers) Leadership communications and event coordination.
  • Facilitate Crisis event communication/coordination for any OSS related event (i.e., Weather, Power, Supply Chain, Equipment, etc.)
  • Facilitate periodic Communications with all suppliers to review Best Practices, successes, struggles, future plans and to promote Teamwork throughout the TMMTX Complex.
  • Heavy emphasis on Floor side management of Production, Maintenance, Engineering and Material Conveyance.
  • Daily coordination of Hero Logistics (OSS) routes to and from OSS.
  • Ensure Safety & Cost management systems in place for of Hero Logistics (OSS)

Qualifications/ What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) or 3 years or more of equivalent professional experience
  • 1 year experience in project planning role or project management experience
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime, nights, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays as needed
  • This position requires driving. A motor vehicle record that's acceptable by company standards is required for this position

Added bonus if you have

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Toyota experience or Manufacturing Co-Op experience
  • TBP completion (Toyota Business Practices) (passed panel)
  • 1 year inventory management or supply chain experience
