Who We're Looking For

Toyota's Supply Chain Strategy - Production Strategy (SCS-PS) team is looking for a passionate, self-motivated, and highly organized Analyst to join our team.

Reporting to the Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to spearhead the team's goal to improve business conditions through mid-to-long term supply chain efficiency, capacity utilization/optimization, production flexibility, and cost competitiveness. This role will be focused on strategic decisions for North American Production In-Line Accessories.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Essential responsibilities:

    • Lead In-Line Accessory (ILA) cost investigation & implementation agreement for all major, minor, and model year projects; Must be comfortable presenting to large working groups and to executives
    • Analyze complex data sets from distinct stakeholders to generate data-backed recommendations for supply chain strategies
    • Project management: cross-functional coordination of many stakeholders (including various Toyota functions such as Packaging, Logistics, Purchasing, and the NAMCs) through project activities to achieve KPIs
    • Process standardization: support department in development and execution of Standard Operating Procedures; propose and implement process improvements
    • Support development of mid-to-long term commodity strategy for manufacturing, including assisting and leading Make versus Buy (MvB) studies for commodities are our manufacturing plants in order to optimize our supply chain, quality, speed, and cost structure

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree (business or engineering) or equivalent experience
  • Professional experience coordinating complex cross-functional meetings to reach consensus
  • Self-motivated and independent with experience effectively managing multiple short- and long-term tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), ability to deliver complex information clearly and concisely across cultures and organizational boundaries
  • Ability to think critically, identify risks and opportunities, generate potential solutions, and evaluate impact
  • Skilled in MS Office: Excel and PPT
  • Willing to travel domestically & internationally (approx. 10% up to 25%)
  • Willing to work over-time (approx. 10%)
  • Willing to be in-office at Plano headquarters 3 days / week (subject to policy change)
  • This position requires driving. A motor vehicle record that's acceptable by company standards is required for this position

Added Bonus If You Have

  • Experience in supply chain, project management, strategy, manufacturing planning and operations, and/or manufacturing costing, preferably in automotive industry
  • Work experience at Toyota (with TBP and JKK through panel)
  • Experience working on Toyota vehicle or powertrain projects
  • Proven problem solving and process improvement experience and/or training
  • Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tool experience
